my dear beloved tierra

Not for long if we keep going the way we are. I was tuning into the BBC early this morning and was given a fair amount of, "open your eyes buddy." They were interviewing scientist discussing Global Warming, apparently earth is warming up faster than early scientist had predicted. Granted we will be long gone by the time California is underwater. They predicted, at the rate earthlings are consuming natural resources the temperature of earth will be significantly changed by 2100ce causing millions to suffer. hummmm.

As a result of all this talk, I was wondering if I will have the longevity to see some of these catastrophes. Suddenly the pages from Issac Asimov, Phillip K. Dick and Ben Bova books started to flash before me. Will I and my loved one's get to experience some form of new world order? Will the computers start to take over and place us in check, we are in the twenty-first century... right. What would Stanley Kubrick do?

What ever happens, those BBC scientist put the fear of dead like a plant in me. I believe the time has come to build my bat cave. If I start building my underground fortress now, I should have it completed by 2050ce when I'm like seventy, or as old as the sea. Maybe Mr. Noodle can help with the designs for this elaborate underground "the plan" like dwelling. Everyone will be there it will be marvelous. and and and....

did you say something
