In reflecting about yesterday, I guess my students are developing a consciousness of voice and perhaps struggling with the concept of an existence of inherent or intrinsic value of voice, plus all the baggage it carries.
Making them conform to the idea of having a "voice" seems ridiculous, they have ideas, they are not empty vessels drifting over mounds of desert sea.
Thus, I feel funny trying to ask them to "have a voice" when they are full of ideas.
I can't remember who said this, but I clearly hear in my head, said to me, or read at some point, that knowledge is a big mess of contradictions and people make an understand of the information whether "knowledge exist."
With this said, our "voice" is uncertain until we make sense of the contradictions that surround the unconscious voice relegated by our beliefs. Maybe?
I have to think about it some more...
the word according to,
